We're Leaving On a Jet Plane

Tomorrow we leave for Beijing at 11:00 am, with 5 suitcases, 4 carry-ons, tons of medication just in case, and anxious hearts. We are so excited to finally being able to meet our dear little ladybug face to face. Thank you to everyone who is lifting us up in prayer. I definitely feel an unusual sense of peace that must come only from the Father. Your prayers are working. Thanks also for all of the emails, texts, and phone calls with words of love and encouragement. It feels so GREAT to have so many wonderfully supportive family and friends in our lives. We are truly blessed beyond measure. God is good, all the time!

It was so hard saying good-bye to my students and their parents today. I'm really going to miss being their teacher, but know I'm going to LOVE being Sophie's mommie. I was an emotional wreck today, crying bittersweet tears of sadness to say goodbye and happiness for realizing our dream of Sophie is coming true.

Well, better go to bed and get some rest (yah, right!). Gotta get up early tomorrow! Stay tuned to our first blog while we're in China!!!! Love you all!

Ok. So what is the time difference. It's 4:10 here on the 5th. How far ahead of us are you. I read your itinerary, but there weren't details. Like when does your flight come in? Do you want me to come to the airport? Just thought I'd throw this all out cuz I don't know how often you'll be blogging. I saw that the girl you're flying there with already updated her blog. That's probably because she landed 1st;)Love you and hope all is going smoothly and you're enjoying the experience. Hugs and kisses to all.

Ok, tell me if I'm right...you're 14 hours ahead of us. Right on or completely backwards?
